Shells at the shore
Bereft of joy and thrill
Plenty of blue waters
The abandoned abodes
Once housing the pearls
Lying empty and flung
Before the pitiless tides
On the sandy shores
Once at the peak
Many drop in the ditch
Bitten by nature's dictum
Buried in oblivion
Like featherless fowls
Fluttering in the dark
Destiny doles and destroys
Teeming with empty shells
The human creatures
Hearts broken and dried
The pitiable souls
With no hope to return
Making mockery of life
Is nature cruel and wild?
