SHE WAS HER FATHER'S PRIDE

SHE WAS HER FATHER'S PRIDE

She used to be our father's pride
trained in the custom of the great land of oshimili.
enlightened by the western Encyclopedia
balance equilibrium
ADAOMA our fathers joy .

until she met Mr WHITE Master ceremony,
commander of cunningness,chief of liars
He swept her of her feet
Took her to the highest heaven
catch in the twilight of time ,lost in the moment of pleasure
divided in the concept of morality.

father wept in silence, full of regret
thought where he went wrong
consoling his pain with palm wine
searching in thought for answer
that never came.

She was a beautiful pride to the
clan ,
father would have killed thousand cows for her arrival,
the clan would have seen light at the end of the tunnel
ADAOMA left her pride and follow the price of emptiness.

Oh! sorrow full your door step
Mr White
You son of thousand fathers

She return home ,
father welcome her with a warm hug of embrace
but the pain left the wound in the old man heart.
