She Was a Great Mom

Momma who’s going to pray for me the way you used to do? No one can make excuses for the things I do, like you. But now your voice is still and I’m like that little bird that has left his nest, But I hope you know mom, in my books you were the greatest, the very best. And I just want to thank you for showing me the right path to take, And to thank you for putting up with the heartaches I caused and the many mistakes. And for the burdens I placed on your soft shoulders that were so strong, And for the sleepless nights you cried and prayed when you knew I was heading wrong. For the fifty eight years I had you I give God thanks for sharing you with me, But He called you home but not before you plead the Blood of Jesus over me. To me you were the most unselfish person I’ve ever known, A tower of strength, but meek and humble, thank you for all the love you’ve shown. Hopefully one day we can reunite, but it’s up to me to keep it going straight, You did your level best, now it’s up to me to be the master of my fate. Seldom a day goes by that you’re not mentioned at least once or twice, By a family that loves you and still thinks you were super and especially nice.

A lovely tribute. Very honest and heartfelt words. My thoughts were very similar when my mother passed. She knows your feelings and thoughts. Very well done. My best, Charlie

Ron, this touched my heart deeply. One of the most beautiful tributes I've read. Most certainly she can feel your love and know how grateful you are. Love, Shar
