She Stands Outside Herself

Mourning the time wasted...

this sacrifice lingers...wains

She pours over her memories...

this ingenue recalls...

indulges only the very best...

...this cry very very familiar...

...This truth raw and intense...

sooner rather than later...

would've been best...

she succumbs to this pain...

surrenders...honorably...

her sense of duty released...

her tears will once again...
wash her clean...

this suffer in silence...
is stemmed from the need to believe...

this hollow feeling...

now stares back at me...

this constant so it shall be...

this thriving...this all over...

this goodbye...this all done...

to stand outside myself...

to stand outside myself...

to stand alone outside myself!!!

...has begun...
