She Sees Me
The dying embers of my soul lifted its head today
I would not have anyone else beside me
Not magic words, no eloquence or pomp
My wife with words
can touch my most hidden places
And begin a smile that starts inside
And tonight i lie beside her
and hang on every breath
The place i am meant to be
within her love my rest
