She Is a Woman
She is a silhouette so daintily fashioned
With dazzling internal beauty
Like a bird, ready to carry more than her weight in flight
Deity eyes of trinkets
Charged fully to fend for the needs of her young
Cheeks of velvety roses
Rises in the many shades of the rainbow during struggles
Like a Tigress in the wild she pounces and makes hay when the sun doesn’t shine
In her gypsy heart burns a flame so deep
She is a woman; she kindles this taper and produces wax of zeal.
She is a woman; she weaves the globe in her innovative braids
She is a woman; she kisses warmth in to those who are lost in impenetrable blankets
She is a woman; she feeds hungry souls to the fullness of the moon.
