She Deserves My Wrath and More

She deserves the wrath of my worst, She deserves punishment, She should be the example To dissuade the others Mercy? Ha! I scoff at the ridiculousness of it. I roll my eyes, my soul snarls her lip and growls Pirate expletives come out, heavy and sarcastic. She deserves whatever anger I can show her; The back of my hand, maybe bullets. But.... No! I refuse to use it. This word is making me angry. I know you are going to become a wimp and.... She is my friend, she would not have done it If she had any idea how much it would hurt me. There is no way her soul is this mean. She has been my bestie for a long time. Sweet and thoughtful when I had cancer. Loving and giving when my children were born. I cringe at this wimpy side of myself, Irritated I have not been able to dissuade her As she keeps droning on and on, reminding me Of a relationship I have cherished for a long time. "Hi!" a voice says. It is her. She looks contrite. She must have figured it out.

I think this is a better way to be. Keep giving people chances, it helps them become.

I am a small town girl, we always had to be nice to each other, knowing we would see each other 100 times each week.

Sometimes friends go through problems we can't help them with. They will do the unexpected and can hurt us, but a long time relationship is worth saving. A reflective piece Karen. I hope you have patched things up now. xxoo

This was actually for a writing prompt, Connie, but it reminded me that I always back down and give second, third, tenth, and eleventh hundred chances for those I love.

There's nothing quite like the psychic impression of "guilting"; it get's them every time.

It is horrible but I gloat a bit when they begin to grovel.

All relationships go through their rough patches. We just have to hold on to what's important. Have a great day.

Yes, I have to watch myself always, as I am the role model.

It never ceases to amaze me how therapeutic poetry can be. You let it out and that feels good. Wonderful ending. Did you have cancer? Regards dear Caren, Allen
