She Deserves My Wrath and More
She deserves the wrath of my worst, She deserves punishment, She should be the example To dissuade the others Mercy? Ha! I scoff at the ridiculousness of it. I roll my eyes, my soul snarls her lip and growls Pirate expletives come out, heavy and sarcastic. She deserves whatever anger I can show her; The back of my hand, maybe bullets. But.... No! I refuse to use it. This word is making me angry. I know you are going to become a wimp and.... She is my friend, she would not have done it If she had any idea how much it would hurt me. There is no way her soul is this mean. She has been my bestie for a long time. Sweet and thoughtful when I had cancer. Loving and giving when my children were born. I cringe at this wimpy side of myself, Irritated I have not been able to dissuade her As she keeps droning on and on, reminding me Of a relationship I have cherished for a long time. "Hi!" a voice says. It is her. She looks contrite. She must have figured it out.
