She Burns Brightly
Conflagration
in the void,
churning,
turning,
an ebullient life.
Gaia boils
with frustration,
self-actualization
on a flaming scale;
a Deva enflamed,
still destruction’s
curtailed.
Name nailed
in the cosmos,
she prevails;
light years
dare not erase
her sacred face.
God’s other child,
spinning wild,
dervish pyre;
sits in splendor.
this enlightened
wily cosmological
lantern.
Her passion burns
amid the churns;
some day
she will burn out;
white dwarf
afloat
in a metaphysical
sea.
