Alouette
Created by Jan Turner, the form consists of two or more stanzas of 6 lines each (12 lines or more) with the following rhyme scheme: a, a, b, c, c, b
Syllable count: 5, 5, 7, 5, 5, 7

I adore your smile your wit and your style. You've shown me how to have fun, my lover and friend conjoined till the end our souls have morphed into one. I'm sharing a dream with a bright sunbeam. Guiding my soul with your light you taught me to laugh fought on my behalf and never obscured my sight. Love flows from your heart and has from the start. No one else compares with you for you are unique, mild-mannered and meek with a compassionate view. We face life awake when dreams are at stake. Let's toast Cupid with a kiss His arrow in flight was aimed well the night love ruled our kingdom of bliss.
