Shake It

Shake It

Hey you with the dirt
Hang on, did ya know
You were made out of dirt
'for ya get all excited
Upset, mad, blindsided
Let me just say
I too was made that way
God- He took that dirt
He formed man, woman
Breathed life in
Spirit, heartbeat
"image of God"
From head to feet
Fashioned man after him
Generations passed since then
Man today
Still living the same way
Like he still dirt
Sorry if that hurts
People, we need to shake the dust
The sin and the crud
We aren't called to be mud
Leave the muck land
Take Christ by the hand
Be clean
That dirt don't become you
Shake off that doo
Jesus is the way
Time to bathe, bathe today
