Shadowy Stares

When shadowy stares cast down with forlorn eyes, Not completely whole to maintain such gaze, It ceases to shine in times of lies. Fresh from crystal waters they glaze, Is it not light that gives her true form? To rise from tempest havens abode; By wars of thorns thrown askew in storm, Brings forth that which made her stare to decode. Stars which shine and dulls with time, To be seen maintaining its sparkling light. Not to delight in moody demeanor or prime, But carry thee forth to a place of height; On a series of day and night all moonlit, Are thou precious beyond thy beauty? Which shimmers within its hung frame and fit, Where a single stare turns gold to stone in swift duty. Charming rainbow thou beholds such in awe, Wrung from fair, mild and gentle musing, Clutching each colour consuming with jaws of claw, In the aftermath of long awaited cruising. Boldness jolts face up with a strong startled strength; Only to filter away the sorrow in each thoughts, As a last resort, staring only magnifies in length, When all ends in a world full of fake lots.
