Shadows Reborn

My mind appears from the shadows Surrounded by the body of something Something seeming only human Human only skin deep A long blade crosses my chest Slicing open the human flesh A terrible roar leaves my throat Only to be stopped by sealed lips Blood seeps out the gash Spilling down my flesh Immortality vanished with the slash Then my body drops to the floor I take in my dying breath My body burns from the inside As darkness seeps from the wound Then it consumes my slayer Sliding into its victim The darkness takes control As control returns I see from new eyes
