Shadows In the Moonlight
By the darkest shadows in the moonlight,
A werewolf creeps through the woods as it stalks.
This beast is such a terrifying sight;
Thirsty for blood, upon bare feet it walks.
The wolf’s bane now blooms in season—beneath
A full moon within the sky—while it prowls.
With blood-soaked lips hiding razor-sharp teeth,
The animal lifts up its head and howls.
Scared men search for the first rays of the sun;
Praying that morning comes before too long.
These victims are left with nowhere to run
From their fear of its ghastly grip so strong.
This creature's soul—forever filled with rage—
Until silver bullets stop its rampage.
