Once a quiet prayer spoken by gentle hope with flaming red hair her dreams giggled in the light softly playing, a summer sun sighed its music, a chorus spun across the distant hills, so real fading on the twilight’s dark heal romance bleeds into her eyes as she recalls his various lies will heaven allow her to abide in this pain, where she can’t hide his stories remind her of the nights when she prayed for solace, before her heart fell silent on twilights edges of fear, followed her, so clear it was not love – though she’d cry it was more a shadow against the sky, a shadow of doubt, rising high before she melted against a heavy sigh

Reminds me of someone I know. She has gone through so much for years. She had been such a happy child, hopeful teen, amazing student with great hope for a wonderful future and always has loved the Lord. She fell in love with a narcissist, he's in loves too, but only with himself, nobody else. She's had a dreadful life with him. She is finally ending the relationship, a horrible marriage. This poem brought her to my mind and heart as I read your poem. Please lift a prayer for her <3
