Shadow
Spots with holes ceiled in the under belly
A lavish hole filled with debris;
We sought a grand illusion from a figment lost in time
As in an operative vocation filled with mediocre appreciation
Through a window caught in time sublime
Breathe deep into its vast chosen quest
Still will all long to enter into its final rest
Then fallen out of the sky subside
A sought after excursion into its timely lulabye
Shelter lies dormant onto its beckoning call
The shaded doorway filled with gloom shortly after the fall
Through slight peril amidst the brink of a storm,
Through a window caught in time now alone
From its fresh scent in fallen dew
In borrowed still occupied pew
Within its daarkened thought of intricate thought
Through a window caught in time
An etched stained glass painting with a foretaste of fear
I shed a single tear to help numb the inner pain again
While the whole entire world outside goes totally insane again!
