Sex Talk
The sex study is complete, the report is out
And shock and awe and somber rage
Greet the moral news of all that we find out
Children corrupt and from tender age
Where innocence was constrained. And I
In grief berate the hypocrisy of our state
For only for own child we shudder and deny
But for the other homes, we open the gate
My childhood understanding of the fact was in
The fairytales, a border still deferred to me
A frightful voyage to avoid into the carnal sin
And then we stripped away the screen, wee
Things for truth, a righteousness of reality
That made the sucking on the fruit a figment,
A superstition, a taboo without any credulity
And sin is sin not again, but we need men penitent.
O some have spoken of the artificial age defined
For convenience of economy, and conflicted hearts
Ambiguous outcomes make, we flaunt and signed
In bawdy presentations, news and symbols of the arts
Views and marketing darts, and I am not surprise
For the market of contraception makes us secure
Against population's divine presence, and the eyes
Of the world against our faults. What else is now in store?
