Severed Ties

We're suppose to be to peas in a pod we use to share everything I share my heartache you share your pain I've been thrown for a loop because you're shutting me out I'm like a bystander on the outside looking in no longer part of the action they say things change I never thought it would happen this time around but the signs are there you're changing you're becoming a stranger I'm not forcing you to open up just want you to know I'm still here I’m still me…

A well written poem, though sad, feeling the desperation to try to stop something tangibly changing. Take a trip together somewhere, do things you both liked to do, it may offer an opportunity for all to come in the open. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your kind comments on my poem. Caroline.
