Like a child, filled with wonder, He watched the white flakes falling Gently resting on the ground Clinging to the outstretched limbs Of verdant trees and bushes. Charmed by hinterland’s beauty He shook the snow globe once more. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Contest: Sevenbits Sponsor: Nette Onclaud 4th October 2017

Oh, Paul. Such a surprise ending. I really wish I could package up the foot of snow in my yard and ship it to Malta because that's what friends are for. Lol. Greetings from Michigan.

Thank you, Rhoda....some of that snow would be welcome, though I fear it would melt by the time it arrived here! I appreciate the thought my friend from Michigan:) Regards // paul

Thank you, Susan. One can't resist picking up a snow globe and flicking it around; those flakes entice both young and old! This poem never made it to the contest; there was a glitch which did not allow me to enter it. ~ Regards to a lovely friend ... paul

We too had a snow globe, but it did not last long...imagine 7 siblings all tugging at it, wanting to have a go!!! Hugs // paul ps...met James & Olive a couple of times during their holiday here.
