My house absorbs the silence.
Shadows come creeping
as I embrace the solitude,
for I will wield a poet’s pen.

Nothing beats the silence to write poetry. A poem on its own. Good luck. Tom.

I'm the same way. I need silence when I'm writing. Great point. Have a good day.
