her death my pity hindrance 
lessening of growth

regressed innocence 
before successful progress
life’s impediment

severe frustration
defeated bloodline mourning
extinct from her loss

thirsty for closure
beyond my intelligence 
woe relapsed from strength

prayers heal my heart
yesterday’s setbacks bring hope
struggle gains freedom
