Set Us Free
In organic dust
our soul must adjust
that we
side step paths unjust,
renounce ways of lust
to be,
as elders discussed,
love and light stardust,
so free.
Simple is soul’s plea;
let head-heart agree
to rise
declutched from mind tree,
busy like a bee
unwise,
enmeshed in envy,
unable to see
through lies.
Once our false self dies,
soul climbs to new highs
as must,
so opening eyes
let’s clearly apprise
unjust
acts, heeding love’s cries,
that God’s laws applies,
we trust.
