Serendipity Love

Serendipity Love Love is never lost like a snowflake on an LA freeway Or a teardrop in a sea of sand. Love pops up like a tomato plant on an offramp Or daisies in sidewalk cracks. 10-2-21 Contest: Bite Size Poem No. 22 Sponsor: Line Gauthier Based on two true experiences - the tomato plant and the daisies

Hi Gina! Many many thanks coming your way! The tomato plant, the daisies and black-eyed susans growing into the desert always remind me of God's playfulness - experiencing something magical and mysterious when least expected! A wonderful experience! Sending you bunches of blessings and a hug!

Nature abhors an empty space Sam, every niche is eventually exploited, your wonderful observation has many permutations regarding random chaos and survival of the fittest, congratulations on your win, cheers David

Constance thank you! Have never forgotten the freeway tomato plant, the daisies or the black-eyed susans growing along every road in the western US and even out into the desert! All of these are illustrations of nature as survivor, and beauty queen, for me. Sending you blessings of beauty and serendipity!

Hi Carol Louise! I so appreciate your visit and your lovely message! Many, many thanks! When our children were little guys they taught me to look at all the amazing things around us as they saw magic everywhere! Was in LA getting off the freeway and there was a tomato plant, with tomatoes, growing through a space on the side of the off ramp! I've never forgotten that sight! Blessings of serendipity to you!

Beautifully written despite this Brit having to look up what an offramp is. Cheers - Gary

Thank you so much Gary! Didn't think about international "highway" vocabulary! Opps! Anyway, glad you enjoy this bit of serendipity. And I really did see a full blown tomato plant growing up on a freeway and a daisy plant thriving in a crack on the sidewalk! Amazing miracles of survival. Cheers to you!
