Seraphim

little girl who rose up
above poverty
above ignorance
above forced marriage

little girl who rose up
who grew up
who became a woman
who became my seraphim

my seraphim who looked down
my seraphim who descended
my seraphim who took pity
and married me…

Awww, Tim. A poem for your Vicki written straight from the heart. Now you've gone and made me all misty-eyed. She'll rest peacefully knowing she was and is still loved. Beautiful, my friend. Licia :-)
