The hush of autumn rains grace
Over the oaks and pines, an embrace
Gentling every shadow with light
Silencing the darkness of this night
Whispers of hope in hues of dreams
Hesitating, struggling in quiet streams
Soothing the spirit with abiding peace
Joy the heart and soul cannot release
The song of autumn resonates faintly
Alive on the thoughts, inspiring, saintly
Music flowing, vibrant rhythms, pleasing
Coloring emotions in elations, teasing
Breathes of creativity, gasping intensely
Jubilant laughter of the wind, immensely
Enthused promises from the swirl of leaves
Crushing doubts with a faith that believes
The brilliance of the autumn sky, a full moon
Dotting the blackness, stars, brilliance strewn
Vibrating through the heavens – such beauty
Fiery moments of splendor, always on duty
Reflections of the virtue found in September
Sensations so alive we will always remember
What it means to feel – to touch the season
With wonder for moments autumn will ease in.
