Separate Paths
Although I wish
I could have stayed
With you so many years ago,
I know our paths
Were different then,
And we both had to learn and grow
Although it hurt
To leave you when
My love for you had grown so strong,
Our paths in life
Have realigned,
And now we’re both where we belong.
