You did really well describing the senryu Paulette. I write a lot more haiku than senryu because of my love of nature. I think Joseph has his work cut out for him with this wonderful contest. Paulette, for years I thought I was writing haiku but was actually writing senryu. I tend to write more about the human condition than strictly about nature. I enjoyed reading your pleiades and I hope you are able to write more.

Thanks John~this was the second Pleiades I ever wrote, what a challenge! As far as Senyru Haiku, you are right, the human condition with a bit of humor is classified as a Senryu. Yes, now that I have met the challenge of the Pleiades I intend to attempt to use this form in future writes. Thanks for stopping by to comment! :) Paulette
