Black Eyed Susan
for nette's "septolet the puppet" contest

fabric: drill – double meaning of practice and durable twill cotton (also, cottonmouth refers to a dangerous snake as well as "an uncomfortable condition that feels as if your mouth is coated with cotton. http://www.ehow.com/how_8412538_fix-cottonmouth.html#ixzz278lYPjBG)

flavor: mochadoodle – not kidding! it's a flavor of coffee: milk chocolate, cinnamon, and hazelnut

(Monty is a made up senator - referring to the expression "the fully monty" - meaning everything that is expected or possible)

Congrats in the contest, Susan, it was a very clever one, maybe the humor too political to be totally understood by some. you always add such a unique style to the contests!!

Hi Susan, another awesome poem,, The image above reminds me of a movie called "DEATH SILENCE" where the wife is controlling her dead hubbies body through an opening in his back, like a ventriloquist... love your verse.. always~ PD

This is cute, Susan. Since you asked me, I think Doo would be funnier since it reminds me of cock a doodle doo. But maybe you could say dew, like mountain dew! Moo also is good, however, because it uses milk and moo goes along with a cow sound. Gosh, I just don't know. They would both sound good. I have never heard of this Monty guy. He is senator in your state? Lots of great cleverness in this poem.
