Notes About The Poem

Selfie

They take their picture in a car, on a plane, and by the pool,
Mowing the lawn, doing the dishes, and even at school.
But the strangest one by far that I have seen,
Was at a local funeral home before it convened.

Some selfies look beautiful, with no preparation or fuss,
While others look like they have just been run over by a bus.
It is all done spur of the moment and in fun,
To share a precious moment for their loved ones.

That is true in a lot of cases too! Some go to unbelievable lengths to take the picture.
