Self help: Computer
The same footsteps I walk every day,
The same footsteps on my path,
Perfect small footsteps never missing a beat,
Perfectly hitting the mark,
Lead me on through this corridor of life,
How I feel doesn’t matter one bit,
No matter how dead I’m feeling inside,
My step seems to perfectly fit,
And I can’t get off and go my own way,
I can’t seem to make my own gaffe,
In this world of A.I. where everything’s good,
I can’t even make myself laugh,
So, in my broken down world where nothing’s broken,
Where each broken footstep looks new,
I’ll obey the machines directing my world,
I’ll just do what machines tell me to.
