Self Esteem

Hard to be a humble soul
In a world of silver and gold

Some rather tweet than to speak
Others prefer cookie cutters than unique 

Self esteem is like a boat's sail
Without it more likely to fail

It’s ok to ride tides pride
Yet still stay humble on inside

You are right, Karen.If we put a low price for ourselves, others won't give us the value due for us. Being humble is another thing. Self esteem is so much needed. Well articulated!

A pleasant poem. A little pride can drive us ahead. Excess of pride is a disease That never keeps the soul at ease, With excess of pride, Down the slope one glides. If for a contest wish you best luck.
