Seized and Captured

She was too delicate to be exposed to people with germs,
so her parents put her into a gilded cage, and there she stayed,
most of her life, never touched by humans, watching them smile
and laugh through the glass. Always wanting something more,
but never knowing what, for her imagination did not allow her more.

	                          shes seized and captured
                               surrounded by gold and glitz
                                    never knowing love

Wow Caren, so this is how a Halibun looks - amazing and so brilliantly written. I was quite a sickly child myself and for a time was also over protected, but I know it was done through love and eventually became a stronger person because of it. Kindest thoughts Ann xx

Oh, what a sad life some must lead! I can see my grandsons through facetime video but they are not tangible. Holding them, having them snuggle in my neck, even playing Yu-Gi-Oh (roll eyes and lol) are what living is all about!

It is not the same; move to them Kim. Move to their backyard. Do it now.
