Sedoka- Slow down

Speeding through highway
My eyes caught the traffic sign~
'Slow down, there's work in progress'

With a sudden brake,
a screeching sound, tiers stilled.
Moved slow with extreme caution.

Dearest Valsa, congratulations on your win. You have so skillfully used images of driving on a freeway as a metaphor to "slow down!" Wonderfully done! Sending you blessings, dear friend!

Well said, Valsa; myself, I am at a stage in life when I drive as little as possible. A dinosaur with a license. Great imagery.

Your use of metaphor and imagery works in tandem to generate a striking picture, Valsa. Best wishes for the contest.
