Security Insecurity
Not enough bullets,
not enough guns
Not enough
ships, planes and submarines
There’s simply not enough weapons
Gotta make more bombs,
gotta build taller walls
Gotta make more satellites
that can monitor it all
Must expand the cyber arsenal,
the computer nano brigade
Need to patch in more infantry boots,
need to out-source more military suits
Have to make America’s security tight,
and show the world America’s might
Project more strategic strength
will make American citizens feel alright
It’s so sad,
the biggest, baddest kid on the block
is now so afraid
Hawks school of thought is:
keep churning out more items of weapons grade
that says, “American made”
War is a just tweet threat way,
insecurity is the nervous theme of each day
So holster up, American cowboys and girls ...
there’s no doubt in your minds,
this Wild West approach makes for a safer world
