Secret Worlds

You live in your secret world and I live in mine, Because living in worlds together would not be fine. The rift between us is much too wide, for us to walk side by side. To much damage has been done. The father of your physical body has won. The tears streaming down my face, is begging for everyone to get out of my space. I watch you drive away. Deep down in my heart I have nothing left to say. Your secret world is calling your name. When I step into your world all you do is place blame. So I go back to mine where I can hide, so with my time I can abide. You live in your secret world and I live in mine, because living in worlds together would not be fine. © Deborah Seale Miller 1/25/2007
