Secret Love
SECRET LOVE
My dearest Secret Love, wish you could know,
heart that beats for you, one day find is true.
One day if circumstances are different,
perhaps I’ll then … reveal myself to you.
Time and circumstances aren’t changing now,
and other things, keep keeping us apart.
Absence making desires so much stronger,
more intense of course feel … than from the start.
My Secret Love, the thoughts I have of you,
since the very first time, laid eyes on you.
Poet only, could do these thoughts justice,
with artistic words … perhaps your heart woo.
Not poet, just Secret Lover … am I,
I pray we’ll meet some day … before I die.
