Seasonal Color
SANARY-SUR-MER
The tour bus strolling through the narrow crowded street
Petite houses plastered in tangerine, basking in summer heat
Window shutters dressed in faded lavender and lemon green
Mild breeze rushing from palm trees to complete the scene.
A cerulean sky glares on the lilac flowers planted on the roof
A lady wearing coral lips and chartreuse hat looks a bit aloof
Till she frolics, twirling and whirling a watermelon scarf
Boats striped in saffron yellow are queued by the wharf.
Gazing intently at the harbor reflecting aquamarine green
A young man bows, with his vows, for she is his queen
Air filled with charm, mosaic colors of summer abound
For a visit or stay, it's the best ancient town around.
