Seaside Turns

wind amassed the shore
existential mar
eyes in ebb and flow
footprints beachcombed blind
sea contracted heart

symptoms in sand
filling seashells
sand even steps
through lost water

life organ
ripped by tide
under waves

she's salt
shaker

light

Sweetie, all you do is improve and then improve again. It would have been a world tragedy if you'd quit your pen. LOVE this.

Paige, It's as though one can give you word's such as salt shaker, & you can unfold something so unique & metaphorically mystic. Mystic Paige's! (pages) play on words. Sighs

I am loving your comments to Paige, both witty and grin makers. A nosey neighbor, CayCay

Wow! I’m impressed that you wrote this form! I can’t do much more than rhyme! Great job!

Beautiful introspection combining sea elements with body elements : powerfully depicted, PH. I love interweaving of heart with water & waves ~ it brings forth healing power of both ; form used is effective since it is mathematical so balances right & left hémisphères of brain when reading. This is a clever device to use by a poet. Excellent last three lines identifying character of writer ~ Love it. Powerful title that could be variously interpreted. Hav super winter’s day, Hun.
