Your poem revived for me a lost memory for me of my father holding a shell to my ear, telling me to listen to the sea.

Oh such nostalgic longing Andrea so tender and heartfelt. I love the last lines of your first verse and your second verse and how they both relate to salty tears. A wondrous write and good luck in the contest!
