Searching You
I swam in the spate of river of flowing emotions
Searching you on the crest of drifting ripples
I traversed the depth of forest of sunlit swinging trees
Searching you between their dancing shadows
I rode the rising waves of the azure sea in blue nights
Searching you in the mystic glitter of the full moon dust
I floated on the soaring clouds of the surging spring storm
Searching you in the nascent drops of crystalline rain
I followed the butterfly trail of your fragrant flight
Searching you on the petals of the blooming rose
I walked in the meadow embraced by the morning sun
Searching you in the glimmer of dew on the grass
I flew in twilight to the horizon blazed by the setting sun
Searching you in the shimmer of the speckled crimson sky
I slept with stars on my eyes seeing the glinting dreams
Searching you dreaming of me in my warm arms
I know my love would end the search one day
I would find my way to your heart.
