For eighty-plus years I’ve searched for world peace Elusive in its transparency, In a troubled world that fails to understand The meaning of calm tranquility, Though nature illustrates the elements clear Sadly, mankind chooses deliberately To ignore the value of common brotherhood And shared ethnicity.

I think we will understand peace when we get to the next world. However, I cannot find any sense to violence at all.

I think Milton the greatest peace we can achieve in life is a personal peace of mind, exterior forces are very difficult perhaps impossible to control, I totally get and commend your desire to see a universal peace, unfortunately conflict somewhere in the world always seems more likely to happen, but hey it’s just the way I see it, cheers David

And, I suspect you are more correct than I, David, in your opinion. Only one can hope, I believe, and as the days pass perhaps more people will begin to think this way and then, sometime in the distant future there will be peace on earth, goodwill toward men!

It's something most of us yearn for but until everyone is prepared to compromise occasionally and respect each others beliefs then there will always be conflict. We can only but hope that peace will one day be the norm. Tom

That would be so wonderful, Tom. I long for a time when the world will be at peace, but how and when, I cannot say.
