wow that must have been a beautiful moment Richard! Living here we are surrounded by the ocean, I've seen pods of dolphins leaping out of the water, quite often seals popping their heads out of the water but never a basking shark which frequent our waters:-) hugs Jan xx

If you read my comment to Ilene you will see I didn't get to walk but sat in the car with a lady who has balance issues and as it was so windy it was better for me to keep her company and we had a wonder 40 minute chat:-) hope all is well with you and the weather isn't too wild:-) hugs Jan xx

Coincidence? Last week I was photographing the Buffalo Big Board Surfing Competition at Makaha, when an Hawaiian Monk Seal (endangered species) came out of the surf straight at me. Got my best photo ever of the seal! Yes, quite a sight! Aloha! Rico

Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could see where you live. I'm lucking to see a squirrel in a tree. All farmland here, no rocks. Thank you for such a great read my friend and I also enjoyed the music, nice touch.

Thanks Ilene I went to go on the 'real' walk yesterday but it was blustery and one lady didn't want to go out because of balance issues so we sat in the car and I found out I had supported her nephew when I worked at school - it was more than coincidence that I was chosen to sit with her rather than another volunteer!:-) hugs Jan xx

It was blowing a gale but we were on this recce to see where we were going tomorrow . Hubby was photographing the sea there was one seal with its dead popping up our of the water and another on the rocks. I was pointing to them and there were cars with dog walkers in slowing down to see what I could lol:-) hugs Jan xx
