Vermillion Scythe Poet Free verse

Sea of Dreams

Out there at midnight by the lake,
there are no clouds and the full moon
is reflecting on the water.
A shooting star comes by,
inspiring a wish to escape reality.
Stars shine in the water.
I dive in to find another world.
The bubbles fused with moonlight and starlight
display millions of inner realms.
Gems that were never written down
or crafted by anyone else.
I arise from the water,
walking on a new pathway
in the forest to begin the journey of a million lives.
