Sea-Ing Eye-To-Eye
in our bathtub,
eye to eye
floating on
suds and such,
mind to mind…
wandering ..
.
.
.
.
bubbling thoughts
without foundation,
merely bland lips and blush.
danger lies
on the other side of the tub.
our hands hang on
to the sides

through the years of frangipani
and chamomile, the subtle touch
of vanilla skin,
that tantalizes every nerve.

O
the sea stirs mightily...
voluptuously lingers
as fingers cling
to the see-through boat.
...a knock at the door
brings us to our senses.
the crocodile smile says it all
so we must hide our wiles
hilarious footdance erased
shower curtain in place
