Scream Pierces the Night

My feet are freezing in this forest tonight. I wish I had worn my extra socks. Through the tree there is a light. A scream pierces the air. Hair stands on end on my neck. A werewolf? A bobcat? Mountain lion? I begin to walk faster, expecting to die in boots with freezing feet. scream pierces the night mountain lion or brave bobcat my hair stands on end
