Scream

A scream that resounded across walls of the house …
And a scream that couldn’t enter the walled doors…
A scream that pierced through barriers of the heart
And the one that didn’t leave the moist throat.…
A scream that spilled woes of the past
And the one that gathered throes of the present….
A scream that was perhaps meant to be
And the one that wasn’t there for anyone to see.
