Scorn

sorry she exposed her vulnerability
she’s getting the cold shoulder
recognizing it all too well
totally undeserved

it upsets her mostly since
she’s guilty of it herself
on someone in her past
who didn’t deserve it either

and she’s sorry
but won’t make amends
she sucks it up full circle
would rather live with the guilt

Humbleness would be the answer, but how many know how to even spell the word - pride, a bitter pill to swallow, Hugs, Jennifer.

This sounds like someone I know very well who is a part of my life. Pride keeps them from admitting their faults. I can certainly relate. Well said! : )

This is so true, Line, I have been there myself: "it upsets her mostly since she’s guilty of it herself on someone in her past" Wonderful!
