SCO Summit 2025

"There lies a sleeping giant.
Let him sleep! For when he wakes,
he will shake the world." — Napoleon

I stood in Tianjin,
where giants placed their footsteps
upon the soil of China.
Xi welcomed Putin, Modi followed,
and I knew the prophecy had stirred.

The wind shifts,
slowly, silently,
from West to East.
Pressure creates diamonds, they say,
and the tariffs of Trump—
once meant as shackles—
now forge an unbreakable chain:
India, China, Russia.
The reaction cannot be undone.

I heard Modi whisper to Xi:
"The Dragon and the Elephant
can walk together."
But I asked myself,
from the cloud where I observed:
what of borders,
those invisible scars on maps?
Will they heal,
or bleed again?

Money is power—
and China holds that power.
I see India drifting Eastward,
Russia anchoring its flank,
while the old empire of the West
grows weary,
its voice trembling,
its shadow long but fading.

By 2030, the earth will tilt.
The balance of power,
no longer one pole
but many.
For the first time,
the so-called “Third World”
will inherit the stage of history.

To those who have eyes,
let them see.
To those with ears,
let them hear.
The outcome is written,
not in ink,
but in fire and steel.

And I—
a lone observer
standing on the springboard of events—
can only whisper:
history is sorrow,
yet sorrow is prophecy fulfilled.
