"A Missed Poem" Our mem’ries linger in my mind As I sail alone now my love Please touch me if you are around My love for you is so divine These three candles as white as dove Scents of my kiss for you abound Nov. 8, 2013 9.44 pm By Leonora Galinta Form: Italian Sestet Note: I imagined the 3 lighted candles in the picture are the scented ones and 3 means I Love You;)))) The beautiful painting had inspired me to try another form of poem. My friend Irma miss destroyer herself postedyour poem on facebook (we're friends there... Lucinda Cayton I really love poetry that uses simple language usage yet breaks the barriers of common perceptions of the language. Interpretation is up top the reader. I could read this over and over and get a good meaning of the art of your poem every time, perhaps it will reflect something different as we are all a bit self centered in our human shell..

Leonora. that was really great how you saw the three candles. they represent her life expiring (that's what I found out researching the picture). You picked up on that and also her longing for love. Very nice poem.
