Say What? What? You won't read a poet because a poem has to be new? How many do you write a day, I put it to you! Poets are not your personal pleasure factories! Write more of your own, get your fingers out of your olfactories! Some of you, sitting here for years, with less than a poem a day? Pure slothful nonsense, get out that quill, write away! Sites teach new forms, get with it my friends! Grow, blossom, stop hiding in 'comments only' sheds! I encourage you and myself, to be our very poetic best. Heh heh. Anyone can pen a haiku a day. I don't like not getting read because it's not new. Totally selfish to have us beat our brains out daily while others coast. It helps me to push myself, no, I do not want to. But you cannot grow as a Poet unless you write. It's not easy for me and others. Trying new forms..not easy for me at all. Walking Round the planet saying I am a poet who rarely pens is self defeating. Life is about growth not marching in place. Who knows what greatness lies in each of us, dormant. Panagiota xx
